Panasonic GH5s mirrorless camera announced
Panasonic announced GH5s mirrorless camera few days ago with half the pixel size (10.2MP) and higher sensitivity sensor and claimed “The LUMIX GH5S achieves highest-ever image sensitivity and video image quality in the history of LUMIX cameras, especially in low-light situations”. With the arrival of GH5s Panasonic aiming to follow the path of Sony (???) doing their A7 series ( like they have A7, A7s, A7R). Looking at the specs of GH5s its more or less seems that way - because GH5s is aimed at video shooters with very high ISO performance and shooting in low light/dark conditions. Sony brought into the market A7s after an year announcing A7 mirrorless camera with high ISO sensitivity sensor and pixel size half that of A7. Surely both cameras are aimed at video shooters mainly as photogrpahers may go for higher pixel size cameras than these 2 offer. The pricing of GH5s also in line with Sony A7s too ( $2499).
