    Squinching in Photography
    This is what Peter Hurley, the Newyork and Los Angeles based professional photographer has been doing when he gets a client/model with fearful/frustrated look in front of the camera to get better confident look he says. Its what he calls Squinch (your eyelid- lower one specifically). Literal meaning of the word is 'transitive verb 1: to screw up (the eyes or face); squint 2: to make more compact'. But his definition for Squich is as below

    With ‘squinching,’ you’re lifting and tightening the lower eyelid, while only letting the top one come down a hair. It might seem like a slight difference (and it is) but it’s a big deal when you get in front of the camera, Hurley continues. Now watch the video.
