The Camera-Photo Imaging show 2014- Yokohama Japan- Round UpThe CP+ show 2014 was started on 13th February 2014 in Yokohama, Japan. With one more day of the show to go, we take look at what happened so far in the show in the last 3 days and what left for the last day. Many Camera and accessaries companies are displaying their already announced cameras and related stuffs at the show including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Panasonic etc. Lets see what they showed there... Panasonic Booth :- Pansonic displayed already announced Lumix GH4 - the 4K video recorder and still image camera at the first day of CP plus show. There were also exhibition of 4k still and video to 4K ready TV shot with DMC GH4 . Interesting thing was the limited eidtion 'colette' Lumix GM1 camera out in late last year which is in collaboration with Paris boutique 'colette'. Also Lumix GX7 with Leica Nocticron 42.5mm prime lens display along with some compact cameras. Panasonic DMC GH4 at CP+ show Panasonic Leica Nocticron 42.5mm lens on Lumix GX7 at CP+ show Panasonic Lumix GM1 colette model Olympus OMD booth :- As expected Olympus OMD booth had OMD E-M10 displayed both in silver and black editions with kit lenses. But all the news from Olympus booth was about the new professional level lenes going to come out, the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 7-14mm f/2.8 PRO and telephoto lens M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 300mm 1:4 PRO. Pansonic says , it wont be shipping until early 2015 and there will be come changes in design to final lenses to that displayed at the show. Olympus OMD E-M10 at CP+ 2014 M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 300mm 1:4 PRO lens at CP plus show 2014 (below) M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 7-14mm f/2.8 PRO lens at CP+ show Also the newly announced E-M5 12-40mm pro lens kit version with some body design changes also took a place at the show there which will be available in March 2014. Also Olympus was showing the big success model E-M1 miniature model along with Stylus1 miniature. Olympus also announced firmware update to E-M1 (not sure what changes it might bring) assumably video recording. Update- This firmware update bring audio recording to 21 steps from 3 steps to avoid crackling noise. Olympus E-M10 miniature model Olympus Stylus 1 mini camera New E-M5 with 12-40mm pro kit Also there were fish eye Body cap lens 'BCL-0980' (9mm f/8.0) , 25mm f/1.8 lens, pancake zoom 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 lens , 50x zoom STYLUS SP-100 EE camera etc were at the show. Sony booth at CP+ plus show :- Announced few days ahead of th show, the new mirrrless interchangeable lens camera a6000 from Sony took the top spot at Sony booth. The world's fasted camera is to be shipped in mid April 2014 and is available in silver and black and 2 different lens kits, 16-50mm and 55-210mm lens. Also there were some body cases(LCS-EBC) in black and brown color and the LCD screen protector for a6000 camera. Sony a6000 camera with 16-50mm and 55-210mm double zoom kit Sony a6000 camera back Fujifilm booth at Camera Photo imaging show 2014:- Fujibooth was more active with few Cameras and lenses in the show, but the start attraction was of course the newly announced X-T1 camera. Fuji showed the X-mount fixed focus length filter body cap lens of 35mm focal length equivalent which is below. Made from plastic with built in filter and will be treated as accessary by the company. Its was in display on with X-M1. Another important announcement from Fuji was the 1.4 times teleconversion lens for X100 and X100s fixed focal lenght camera. It gives a 50mm equivalent of focal length when fitted on X100/X100s and price and availability is unkown. Fujifilm teleconversion lens for x100/x100s Then, the X-T1 camera was in the hands-on area which was announced at the end of january 2014 and yet to be shipped. Below is the pic The super wide angle zoom lens 10-24mm f/4.0 R OIS lens(image below) from Fuji is there mounted on X-E2 camera along with XF 56mm lens, XF 50-140mm F2.8 R OIS WR, XF 16-55mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR, XF 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR and also the Compact super zoom bridge cameras like , Finepix S1 , Finepix S9400W and Finepix S8600 etc were aslo made it to the show.
